Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Complete repairs, such as brake replacements, oil changes, and engine tune-ups.
- Utilize welding techniques for repairs and modifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment and parts.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of diesel and heavy equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Experience with tire services, including rotations, replacements, and repairs.
- Excellent communication skills with other departments.
- Ability to perform soldering and welding for repairs and modifications.
- Capable of heavy lifting as required for equipment and parts.
