Experienced Water Well/Treatment Technicians

Position Summary

With moderate to advanced well knowledge (or plumbing equivalent), performs installation and service on all types of water well systems for filtration and pump.

Duties

• Provide service on all types of water systems equipment for pump and filtration for new and existing customers.
• Install new water systems equipment on pump and filtration for new and existing customers.
• Train less experienced employees within the Water Systems department.
• Complete work orders, jobs, invoices, and other criteria within company's current software program (Service Titan).
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor’s and/or Upper Management.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Obtain and maintain DOT medical card (paid by Employer).
• Maintain a good driving record to be covered by Employer's general liability insurance.
• MA Hoisting license with 1B & 2A endorsements. (or within 6 months; Skillings reimburses)
• OSHA 10-hour minimum; 30-hour preferred. (or Skillings will pay for)
• Proven experience in water treatment or wastewater treatment is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
• Proficiency in basic math for calculations related to chemical dosing and flow rates.
• Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of distributed control systems and logic controllers is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
