What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Labor & Delivery RN (LDRP) – Nights | $2,600/Week position at SkillGigs?
1. Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active RN license appropriate for the assignment
- Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience
- Experience with labor, delivery, antepartum care, and obstetric triage
- Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring
- Experience with vaginal deliveries and C-section recovery
- BLS required
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP as applicable/preferred based on facility requirements
- Ability to work night shifts for 36 hours per week
2. Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, antepartum, and recovery.
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns, perform NSTs, and manage IUPC placement/calibration.
- Assist with vaginal, C-section, forceps, and vacuum-assisted deliveries.
- Administer and monitor medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, antihypertensives, and antiseizure medications.
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, Foley management, emergency response, and other required LDRP nursing duties.

- 13-week travel nursing assignment
