We are currently hiring experienced and dependable Welders and Fitters for upcoming commercial and industrial projects in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal Welder / Fitter candidate will have 3 years of experience with various welding techniques, fitting, fabrication, and installation oin a commercial and/or industrial environment
Welder / Fitter Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fitting, fabrication, and installation according to plans and specifications
- Perform various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core welding depending on project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and measurements
- Measure, cut, fit, tack, assemble, and install materials and components including, but not limited to carbon, stainless and structural steel, and/or piping systems
- Perform various welding techniques and processes based on project requirements
- Set up and operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment
- Perform layout and fit-up of materials prior to welding and installation
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, quality, and specifications
Welder / Fitter Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial and/or industrial welding, fitting, or fabrication experience
- 3 years of experience with one or more welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick and/or Flux Core)
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License
- OSHA certification and welding certifications are a plus
- Your own PPE and tools
