Skillforce is hiring experienced Mechanical Installers and Tradespeople with HVAC, mechanical, pipefitting or plumbing backgrounds to support thermal equipment updates and maintenance and repair at data centers in Reno, NV. This hands-on role involves maintaining and replacing key components on liquid cooling units. The work is fast-paced and technical, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Project is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, working 40-50 hours a week. Pay ranges from $25/hr to $40/hr, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thermal equipment updates.
- Filter install.
- Follow safety and operational procedures for handling pressurized fluids and high-density equipment.
- Document work completed and support service requests.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical background, preferably with industrial or data center experience.
- Comfortable working in high-density technical environments with strict safety protocols.
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and work collaboratively in small teams.
- Experience with liquid cooling systems or facility mechanical systems is a plus.
- Currently have OSHA10 and aerial lift certification.
