Pay and Schedule:
Pay: Starting at $35 per hour
Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours a week with possibility of overtime.
Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install commercial electrical and lighting systems
- Perform commercial electrical installation and buildout work
- Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
- Pull wire and install panel feeders
- Terminate panels, switchgear, branch circuits, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control wiring, and equipment
- Work with 120V–480V electrical systems
- Test and inspect electrical systems for proper operation and code compliance
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and jobsite safety requirements
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman license for VA, MD, or DC.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment
- Must have tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification is a plus (not required)
