Skillforce is currently hiring Journeyman Rodbusters for work in Laurel, MD! This is a large scale commercial project lasting approximately the next 10 to 12 months, 40 hours a week Monday-Friday, and pay is up to $35 / hr DOE and $150 / day per diem for days worked and is only offered for those qualified.

Responsibilities :
Rebar Fabrication and Placement :
Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel rebar and mesh using tools such as shears, bending machines, and torches.
- Assemble and position reinforcing steel bars, wire mesh, and other materials for reinforced concrete structures.
- Tie and secure rebar using tools like pliers, tie wire, or rebar tying machines.
Blueprint and Specification Adherence :
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and placement instructions.
Safety Compliance :
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaboration and Coordination :
Work closely with construction crews, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of rebar in construction projects.
Quality Control :
Inspect rebar placements for accuracy and compliance with project standards.
