Pay Scale: $24 per hour
About the Role:
Safely and efficiently operate the walk-behind floor scrubber, which involves dispensing cleaning solution, scrubbing the floor with brushes, and using the squeegee to remove the dirty water. Duties also involve routine machine maintenance, handling cleaning solutions, and ensuring the finished floor is spotless and safe for use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- OSHA safety certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the scrubber, including inspecting brushes and pads, emptying the dirty water tank, and ensuring the machine is properly charged.
- Ensure the machine leaves floors spotless and safe by adjusting settings for different floor types and monitoring the cleaning process.
- Ability to understand and operate walk-behind floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina to stand and walk for extended periods while operating the equipment.
- Adherence to safety protocols and regulations to operate the equipment safely.
