Job Description:
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects in El Paso, TX. This position offers steady work, competitive pay, and benefits. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial electrical work with experience installing EMT conduit from 3/4" to 1".
Salary: $40-42/HR
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate electrical installations.
- Properly set panels and boxes according to project specifications.
- Install 1" EMT Conduit.
- Pull wire and run/bend RIGID conduit from 3/4" to 1" in size.
- Installing and running cables for fire alarm systems.
- Install and set fixtures as part of the electrical system.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including TagOut/LockOut.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Job Requirements:
- At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
- MD Journeyman License preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to clear a background check and pass a drug screen.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to properly set panels and boxes.
- Proficient in pulling wire and running/bending RIGID/EMT conduit.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including TagOut/LockOut.
- Must have your own basic hand tools and PPE.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
