Crane Assembler Responsibilities:
- Inspect overhead cranes and hoists to confirm OSHA and ANSI safety standards, as well as manufacturer standards
- Install new systems, including layout planning, steel erection, and wiring
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components, including motor controls and circuits
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Evaluate equipment condition and recommend repairs or upgrades
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair schedules and estimated completion times
- Work safely at heights, perform heavy lifting, and adapt to various work environments
Crane Assembler Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in crane or hoist systems, military background considered
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and troubleshooting 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems
- Mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts
