Hiring Lead Exterior Carpenter – Immediate Opening
Location: Albany, NY
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Exterior Carpenter to join our team for new residential construction projects. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can work independently while leading a small crew to deliver high-quality workmanship.
Job Duties
- Perform exterior carpentry work on new residential construction projects.
- Lead and supervise a small crew on the job site.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Install exterior framing, siding, trim, soffits, fascia, decking, and other exterior components.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Lead Exterior Carpenter.
- Experience in new residential construction.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Must own a complete set of professional hand and power tools.
- Must have reliable transportation (truck or utility van preferred) capable of hauling personal tools.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
