Pay: $25-$30 an hour based on experience
($100 a day per diem for days worked)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Ironworker to assist with the tear-down and replacement of roofing systems. This position involves structural steel work, roof demolition, installation, and working safely at heights. Candidates should be motivated, safety-focused, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Tear off existing roofing materials and structural components
- Install new metal roofing, decking, and structural supports
- Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Work as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements:
- Previous ironworking or structural steel experience preferred (3plus years)
- Experience with roofing or demolition is a plus
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (not required)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality required
