Shop Foreman – Hybrid Millwork & Metal Fabrication
Clifton, NJ | $75,000–$80,000 Overtime | Direct Hire
We're hiring an experienced Shop Foreman to lead the launch of a brand-new Wood-Metal Integration Department with an established manufacturing company in Clifton, NJ.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building alongside their team—not managing from an office. You'll play a key role in developing shop processes, helping build the team, and producing high-end commercial products that combine architectural millwork with stainless steel fabrication.
What You'll Do
- Lead by example as a working Shop Foreman on the production floor
- Build and assemble premium millwork onto stainless steel cabinetry
- Help design the workflow and layout of the new millwork department
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of skilled cabinet makers and millworkers
- Develop quality standards and production processes
- Ensure products meet strict commercial quality and sanitary standards
- Coordinate with the metal fabrication team for seamless production flow
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of commercial or architectural millwork experience
- Previous leadership or Shop Foreman experience
- Skilled finish millworker with strong fabrication abilities
- Experience working with stainless steel or integrating wood with metal is highly preferred
- Comfortable working hands-on while leading a team
- Strong computer skills (MRP/ERP experience is a major plus)
- Experience with commercial projects such as hospitals, universities, stadiums, or foodservice environments is a plus
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch
- Overtime available
