We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Contractor Intern to support our project and field teams. This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and construction processes. The intern will assist with project coordination, site inspections, and technical documentation while gaining exposure to real-world mechanical contracting operations.
Pay $25-35
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical construction projects
- Support engineers and project managers with drafting, documentation, and reporting
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Participate in site visits to monitor installation of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
- Help track project progress, materials, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Assist with cost estimates and quantity take-offs
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
