Position Overview
As a Commercial Service Technician, you’ll perform installation, service, and repair work on commercial HVAC sheet metal systems. This includes duct fabrication, fitting, assembly, and field adjustments on active job sites.
You'll work independently and with a team to ensure safe, efficient, code-compliant results on every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, fabricate, and modify sheet metal ductwork for commercial HVAC systems
- Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on existing duct systems
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and mechanical plans
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components with precision
- Operate standard sheet metal tools (brake, shear, Pittsburgh machine, etc.)
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other technicians
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all jobsite and company safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in commercial sheet metal installation or HVAC ductwork
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and airflow principles
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and mechanical blueprints
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in commercial environments
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Ability to lift, climb, and work in various field conditions
