A skilled nursing facility is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This position is ideal for someone dependable, hands-on, and attentive to detail.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces
- Prepare rooms for new admissions to ensure they are move-in ready
- Clean and disinfect furnishings, fixtures, ledges, restrooms, and heating/AC units
- Remove trash and support overall sanitation efforts across the building
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Complete assigned tasks under the direction of the Housekeeping Director
- Perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience required
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
