We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Norwalk, Ohio. Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations within the facility
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Monitor quality measures, infection control, and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Prepare for and manage state surveys
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Previous experience as a DON or ADON in a long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of LTC regulations, survey process, and compliance
- Experience with clinical systems such as PointClickCare preferred
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
