Position: Central Supply Coordinator / Medical Records
Reports To: Director of Nursing
Position Summary
The Central Supply Coordinator/Medical Records supports daily operations by ordering, maintaining, and distributing medical supplies, nursing supplies, and DME. This role also manages medical records, including maintaining organized resident charts and supporting admissions and discharges, while ensuring inventory control, safety, and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment.
Central Supply Coordinator / Medical Records Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain all current medical records in an organized and up-to-date manner
Assemble charts for new admissions and disassemble charts upon discharge, ensuring records are complete and in proper order
Maintain and organize the central supply room
Track inventory and maintain accurate inventory control lists
Order medical equipment and supplies from vendors with supervisor approval
Assist with other duties as assigned
Central Supply Coordinator / Medical Records Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must meet all state and federal requirements
CNA or Medication Technician certification required
CNA experience preferred
