Staffing Coordinator – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
We are seeking a dependable and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing daily staffing schedules, coordinating call-offs, ensuring adequate nursing coverage, and supporting department managers to maintain quality resident care and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules with accuracy.
Coordinate staffing coverage for call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
Track individual nursing team member’s “call-out” days, vacation days, sick days. and paid time off (PTO) and document in accordance with facility policies.
Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and agency partners.
Monitor overtime and staffing ratios to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate attendance and staffing records.
Assist with onboarding and scheduling orientation for new hires.
Ensure schedules are posted and updated in a timely manner.
Support payroll functions related to staffing and attendance.
Promote positive employee relations and teamwork.

Qualifications:
Previous staffing or scheduling experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or long-term care.
Knowledge of SNF staffing requirements and nursing schedules strongly preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
