Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager
Status: Full-Time Position
Hours: TBD                   

General Statement of Duties: Responsible for procuring, reviewing, and ensuring proper performance of field employees for private ambulance service in the Columbus, OH area. Responsible for all day-to-day functions for the company.                  

Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to the President

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:                   

• Responsible for all daily operations functions; helping crews get out on the road, troubleshooting future schedule issues, working with other departments to maximize efficiency and promote run volume, and performance initiatives
• Review employees' timecards for errors daily and make corrections as needed.                                                             
• Conduct performance reviews on field employees when appropriate.                                   
• Communicate with field personnel on company objectives and how they can contribute to company goals.    
• Interviews potential field candidates for employment.
• Observes patient care technique in the field and assists and makes corrections when necessary.
• Establishes and maintains a working relationship with staff for better two-way communications.                                         
• Monitors and helps all field crews to be on the road for service within 15 minutes of start time.                        
• Assists in evaluation of medical personnel conformity to protocols, policies and procedures.                        
• Assists with education of medical personnel in regard to company capabilities and needs.                                                   
• Assists in the recruitment and retention of new employees and staff members.
• Works closely with all employees, supervisors, managers, and other departments to enhance organizational goals.  
• Assists in all ways possible to maintain daily run volume, on-time performance,
  customer satisfaction, and payroll hours as outlined by the President.                        
• Assists with ensuring the company is meeting and/or exceeding all state and federal requirements.                        
• Maintains core values and stays focused on our mission in the community. 
• Assures compliance with beginning and ending shift procedures. 
• Consistently communicates with entire management staff to ensure the compliance and
  safety of all field staff personnel.                    

• Performs other functions as necessary and/or required.
