User Experience Designer V

Aquent is partnering with a global streaming and entertainment company to hire a User Experience Designer V to help shape next-generation video experiences used by millions worldwide. This role focuses on designing immersive, end-to-end streaming experiences - with a strong emphasis on living room (10-foot) environments, interactive advertising, and premium playback experiences across live and on-demand content. If you have experience designing for connected TV platforms, streaming devices, or large-screen interfaces, this role is built for you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Design end-to-end streaming video experiences for a global audience
• Lead the creation of innovative interactive advertising experiences
• Contribute to playback and discovery experiences across live sports, news, and VOD content
• Translate complex customer problems into intuitive, measurable design solutions
• Create process flows, interaction models, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Develop detailed UI specifications for engineering implementation
• Present work to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Partner closely with product, engineering, research, and leadership to drive execution from concept to launch

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

• 8 years of professional UX design experience
• Strong living room / 10-foot experience (Connected TV, OTT, streaming apps, TV interfaces)
• Experience in the entertainment or streaming industry
• Strong prototyping skills (Figma or equivalent)
• Experience designing complex interaction systems and playback experiences
• Online portfolio required (must include relevant work)

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

• Multi-platform experience (web, mobile, and living room environments)
• Experience designing interactive ad experiences
• Experience applying user research methods (A/B testing, remote usability testing, etc.)
• Rapid prototyping skills
• Experience collaborating across distributed teams
• AI design experience (nice to have)
• Master's degree in HCI, Design, or related field (preferred)
