To Be Considered For This Role, You Must
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
- Be able to work the following schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM AND either Thursdays, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM or Saturdays, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM
- Be able to attend training the first week: Monday – Thursday 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
- Hold a valid and current Pharmacy Technician’s License for the State of Illinois or be eligible to be licensed
What You’ll Do
- Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and coordinating outreach to members and physicians.
- Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into our data processing systems.
- Investigate and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and address escalated member concerns with precision.
- Collaborate closely with Pharmacists, escalating complex prescription questions for expert interpretation and guidance.
- Provide compassionate and efficient support through inbound and/or outbound calls to patients and physicians.
- Contribute to various other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of demonstrated experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
