POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a Digital Marketing and Analytics intern who is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Analytics and is eager to learn more about digital marketing. The intern should be capable of helping with day-to-day tasks. The position will involve various daily duties such as writing blog posts, creating content for social media, analyzing campaign performance, gathering and entering raw data, and other ad-hoc responsibilities. The Digital Marketing and Analytics intern will directly report to the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Analyst and support them with their daily tasks. This is a part-time position with a commitment of up to 10 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Blog writing
- Graphic design using Canva for social media, email marketing, and other projects as needed
- Proficient in working in Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to input raw data into an Excel spreadsheet and identify marketing trends
- Content creation on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Familiarity with scheduling posts on social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
- Interest in working with campaigns in Google Ads
- Interest in analyzing campaign performance in Google Analytics
- Organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to multitask while still maintaining quality work
- Assist with overflow tasks as needed
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: In addition to the necessary skills and experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above, there are a number of traits that a successful candidate will possess.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Strong research skills to understand evolving trends within the market and apply them to everyday tasks
