Core Responsibilities:2. Facility & Grounds Operations Key Qualifications & Skills: About Skier’s Marine
- Dock & Marine Infrastructure Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all fixed and floating docks, gangways, bulkheads, and launch ramps.
- Monitor and repair marine utility systems, including shore power pedestals, dock lighting, fresh water lines, and sewage pump-out stations.
- Oversee the safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of specialized equipment
- Manage the upkeep of all land-based structures, including the marina office, retail store, restrooms/shower facilities, restaurant spaces, and storage yards.
- Oversee general property maintenance, including parking lot upkeep, landscaping, trash removal, and winterization/de-winterization protocols.
- Maintain primary building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security/access control systems.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, with a strong preference for marina, waterfront, resort, or heavy industrial property experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 10/30-Hour
- Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, swim, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably on or around the water.
- Availability: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during peak boating season, and be available on-call for emergencies.
