Work Model: Onsite
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Culture Leader to lead the creation of a Safety and Health Management System (SHMS). You will focus on building a new competency-based training program designing innovative assessment tools to measure and elevate safety culture levels. Additionally, you will lead the development of an integrated SHE IT system to digitize safety workflows, ensuring our organization transitions from reactive compliance to proactive, system-driven safety excellence.
- Conduct safety integrity reviews and validate safety systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Establish comprehensive standards for equipment and facility fabrication, risk management, and safety maintenance.
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) certifications (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Design safety competency frameworks and strategies to enhance both mandatory statutory training and role-specific competency development.
- Cultivate a proactive safety culture by implementing assessment tools and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate on the development and optimization of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) IT systems to digitize and streamline safety processes.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in EHS management with at least 1 years focused on Safety systems, permitting, and design review in U.S. industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment.
- Basic knowledge of project management tools or software.
- Experience in managing EHS systems and coordinating with authorities/AHJ.
- Lead Auditor (ISO 45001/14001) and relevant training certifications preferred.
