Job Summary:
- SKG Auto & Aero is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented assistant to support our small team with both automotive and aviation projects. This role is 18 only and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in doing things the right way.
- You’ll primarily support our Amazon delivery van projects based in the Apopka area, with occasional support on light aircraft‑related projects and general shop tasks.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist with Amazon delivery van projects in Apopka, including basic prep, cleanup, and organizing parts, tools, and materials so vehicles are ready on schedule.
- Support light aircraft‑related projects as needed, following clear instructions from technicians.
- Drive to pick up parts, tools, and supplies from local vendors and bring them back to the shop or job site.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, including sweeping, trash removal, and putting tools/parts back in their place.
- Follow written and verbal directions carefully to help keep jobs on track and on time.
- Communicate clearly with the team about task status, issues, or delays.
Requirements:Compensation & Training:
- Age 18 only.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work and supply runs.
- Clean and professional behavior when representing the company on pickups and deliveries.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move parts and tools as needed throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
- Reliable, on‑time, and able to work independently once trained.
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on environment around vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Pay starts at $18/hr.
- Hands‑on training provided to show you the flow of the work, shop expectations, and how to handle tasks safely and correctly.
- You’ll start with core responsibilities and supply runs, with support as you learn the systems and tools.
- As the business expands, there will be opportunities to grow into more hours and increased responsibilities for team members who are consistent, reliable, and eager to learn.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
