Sales & Operations Specialist – Jewelry & Custom Awards (Full-Time)
Full-Time | Daytime Hours | Some Saturdays Required
We are a locally family owned and operated jewelry and awards business seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join our team full-time. This role combines retail sales, customer service, order and inventory management, light production/assembly, and shipping fulfillment.
This is a stable, long-term position with daytime hours and competitive annual pay.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Service
- Assist customers with jewelry purchases and special orders
- Provide guidance on engagement rings and milestone gifts
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain merchandise displays & sales floor
Awards Production & Order Fulfillment
- Create and assemble custom awards and engraved items
- Review and proof names, dates, and specifications for accuracy
- Package orders for pickup or shipment
- Use shipping software (UPS/FedEx/USPS) to process labels
- Track orders and manage deadlines
Qualifications
- 2 years of customer-facing, retail, administrative, or operations experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail (accuracy is critical)
- Comfortable using computers and order/shipping systems
- Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Professional communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
Jewelry or engraving experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
- Some Saturdays required
- Occasional extended hours until 8:00pm during peak seasons
