What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Skeff's Pub?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food to customers
- Take customer orders and provide table service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- POS experience
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
-Bartend and serve tables simultaneously and seamlessly
-Responsible for opening solo
-Handle 20 patrons
***Must be able to work open til volume each shift***
Hiring for shifts: Fridays 2-8pm & Saturdays 1-6pm
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques including but not limited to: margarita, old fashioned, manhattan, cosmo, long island iced tea, etc
-Ability to learn and maintain set cocktail recipes
- TIPS Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hospitality or food service experience is a MUST
