ABOUT THE ROLE:
Housekeeping Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and disinfection of corporate office building(s), both inside and outside, while maintaining a high level of customer service. This is done using a variety of cleaning equipment, utilizing a broad selection of cleaning solutions and floor-care products, and following specific instructions covering proper mixing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect offices, hallways, break areas, equipment, and furnishings using proper cleaning solutions and equipment

• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment including vacuums and follow specific protocols for different cleaning materials and areas

• Empty trash, dispose of waste, wet-mop floors, and dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces throughout office spaces

• Handle cleaning solvents and chemicals safely while wearing proper PPE including gloves, masks, and goggles

• Complete scheduled deep cleaning initiatives and respond to ad hoc special cleaning requests including spill cleanup

• Report needed repairs immediately to supervisor including plumbing issues, broken fixtures, or facility maintenance needs

• Rotate and supplement cleaning supplies as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels

• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ability to work on-site

• Previous similar experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

• ServSafe certification

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

• Flexibility to work across all buildings and departments as business needs require

• Good oral and written communication skills to interact with management and coworkers daily

• Professional approach to work with ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations

• Capability to take direction from managers and supervisors while working independently

The pay range for this role is $25.00-$27.00/hr USD.
