Insurance Coverage Associate

We are looking for talented and highly motivated attorneys with at least 3 years of insurance coverage experience or commercial litigation experience with an interest in focusing on complex insurance disputes. Ideal candidates will have exceptional writing and analytical skills, strong academic credentials, and a desire to achieve excellence.
About our Insurance Coverage Litigation Practice - Our preeminent Band 1 Chambers-ranked Chicago insurance coverage litigation team represents insurers in complex coverage and bad faith matters in litigation before trial and appellate courts across the country. Our cases involve cutting-edge issues and skilled adversaries. We serve as counsel to insurers in disputes over general liability coverage for mass torts (PFAS, opioids, social media), environmental matters, product contamination/recall, D&O, professional liability, and a wide range of other types of coverage.
About Skarzynski Marick & Black LLP – With offices in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, our firm offers the experience of a large firm, practicing in a more personal and collegial environment. We also offer a hybrid work environment; most of our attorneys work from the office 3-4 days a week, which we have found fosters mentoring and team building.
Compensation ranges from $165,000 to $200,000 annually based on experience with the potential for annual bonuses based on performance.
