Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Counter Associate to join our team at Skagit Valley Polaris. This role is essential in supporting our customers and service department by ensuring they have the correct parts for their vehicles. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for Powersports.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information.
- Look up parts for customers and service department staff using the dealership’s catalog and ordering system.
- Process parts orders, including receiving, verifying, and stocking inventory.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts counter and storage area.
- Handle parts returns and warranty parts processing as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the service department and provide parts support as required.
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock parts as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed to support dealership operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Powersports, automotive, or related parts counter role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Powersports vehicles and parts is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills for parts lookup and inventory management.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed.
