Drive and operate farm equipment used in agricultural production such as tractors and combines. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, and drills to tractors and drive tractors in field to till soil, plant, and spray crops. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive trucks to haul crops and seed, from fields to storage buildings on farm.

Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs. Workers injured on the job and unable to perform the full range of duties may be offered light duty, if available.
