What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor position at Skagit Transit?
Coordinates and oversees the daily operations of assigned fixed route and paratransit transportation services including dispatching and transit operation. Monitors service and operator performance, prepares daily work assignments, investigates accidents and incidents. Participates in operator training, dispatching, scheduling transportation services, and road supervision of transit services. Supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.
Requirements
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job. A typical way to meet this requirement would be:
- ·Associate degree in management, public administration or another job-related field
- ·Training in business administration, supervisor, or related field
- ·Three years of increasingly responsible public transit experience
- ·Valid Washington State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B
- ·Maintain acceptable driving record
Salary : $91,520 - $118,144
