Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring smooth communication, accurate vehicle assessments, and exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help drive customer satisfaction and dealership success.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Provide clear explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, shocks & struts.
- Prepare accurate auto estimates using dealership management software and communicate costs effectively to customers
- Upsell additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle performance and safety while respecting customer budgets
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Promote dealership services confidently to increase sales of automotive repair packages and vehicle sales
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of auto service management and customer relations
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, alignments, suspensions, tire services and shocks & struts.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping

Pay: $62,912.75 - $120,000.00 per year
