What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call Custodian position at Skagit County?
Salary upon hire is $21.62/hr.
The On-Call Custodian is range 8, step 1 of the General (Non-Union) salary schedule. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Sweeps and mops floors. Vacuums, strip waxes and buffs floors. Cleans upholstery. Operates power cleaning equipment, mechanical cleaners and polishers, wet and dry shop vacuum. Mixes cleaning agents.
Empties and cleans waste receptacles.
Dusts, waxes, washes and polishes furniture, counters, woodwork, and metal work.
Cleans and washes windows, walls, windowsills and screens, both inside and outside.
Cleans rest rooms, washes floors & walls, cleans and sanitizes fixtures, and replenishes supplies.
Supervisory:
None.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs other duties, such as setting up tables for special functions.
