Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to oversee new construction housing projects in the Southwest Ranches area. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience in the residential construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities of new housing projects.
- Coordinate with architects, city inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project plans and specifications are being met.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, including scheduling, budgeting, and on-site supervision.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure deadlines are met.
- Review and verify subcontractor invoices and manage project-related documentation.
- Communicate project status and updates to management and stakeholders.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all site activities comply with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential construction or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
