What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Lab Technician position at SK Services, LLC?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance testing of produced products and incoming raw materials
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Other Responsibilities:
- Laboratory document control
- Communicate with production personnel and Plant manager.
- Conduct retesting of the product as needed to support quality.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory cleanliness.
To be successful the candidate must:
- Be detail-oriented
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic math and possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Have basic computer knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be reliable, have a positive attitude, and have a strong work ethic
- Pass a background, physical, and drug test.
General:
- Shift hours: (First shift) 6am-2:30pm
- 40 hours per week, in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing Laboratory experience preferred
Compensation
- Starting at $15.00 per hour (Pay commensurate with experience)
- 8-hour shift (overtime if needed)
- Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
- Day Shift
