FLEET & EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

We are a growing hydroseeding company seeking a dependable, experienced Fleet & Equipment Mechanic to maintain our trucks, trailers, hydroseeders, pumps, skid steers, and support equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, trailers, hydroseeders, pumps, skid steers, and other equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, filters, greasing, fluid checks, and inspections
- Maintain maintenance records and service schedules
- Steam clean equipment daily and weekly to ensure equipment is clean, operational, and presentable
- Inspect equipment for damage, leaks, and wear during cleaning and maintenance
- Coordinate parts ordering and maintain shop inventory
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs when needed
- Respond to field service calls and emergency repairs as required
- Ensure equipment is ready for daily operations
Qualifications:
- Experience working on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, trailers, and construction equipment preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Must be dependable and safety conscious
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
