About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our state-of-the-art facility specializing in automation equipment manufacturing and precision machining. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and test operations.

What You’ll Own
- Lead all plant operations including CNC machining, metal fabrication, assembly, quality, maintenance, and EHS
- Drive P&L accountability, capacity planning, and capital investment strategy
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and world-class quality standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949)
- Build, coach, and retain a high-performance leadership team
- Foster a strong safety culture and employee engagement across shifts
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong background in precision machining, automation equipment, or custom machinery
- Proven success managing multi-shift operations and large, cross-functional teams
- Expert-level knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma , 5S
- Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)
- Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 compliance
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling
- Excellent communication and executive presence
Requirements:
- Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required due to frequent communication and coordination with our headquarters in China.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The company is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, GA area.
