Responsibilities
- Correcting life safety and Environment of Care workplace deficiencies
- Working with pipes and fittings from high pressure to low pressure steam
- Inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, repairing plumbing fixtures and systems, steam operated equipment, heating and water systems, waste lines, kitchen and laundry equipment, air compressors, medical compressed air systems, vacuum systems, oxygen systems and natural gas distribution systems
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and manufacturers' specifications for installing and repairing equipment
- Making safety and preventive maintenance inspections of utility systems and equipment in accordance with company regulations and National Codes
- Planning, laying out, fabricating, and installing mechanical utility distribution systems
Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience as a Plumber
- Knowledge of how various high-pressure piping systems and equipment are installed and operate
- Ability to plan and lay out the installation, modification, and repair of various new and existing piping systems and equipment
- Ability to work from and interpret blueprints, plans, sketches and other specifications to locate piping system malfunctions
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation
Compensation
$31/Hr. Benefits include 11 paid Federal/State holidays per year, 56 hours accrued Sick time, and medical, health, dental, vision and life insurance package.
