Responsibilities
- Create precise 2D drawings and detailed construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Develop comprehensive 3D models with tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms to visualize design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design schematics into accurate technical drawings and system layouts.
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure designs comply with local regulations and standards.
- Prepare construction detail documentation that clearly communicates specifications for fabrication and assembly processes.
- Assist in system design projects including mechanical systems or interior layouts using specialized CAD tools.
- Support project teams by reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent platforms.
- Strong skills in 3D CAD modeling
- Knowledge of construction detail documentation and construction process workflows.
- Experience in interior design, mechanical design, or engineering CAD drafting is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret architectural schematics and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Excellent graphic design skills with an eye for detail and clarity in visual communication.
