OVERNIGHT Sanitation Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sanitation Leader to join our dynamic team! In this vital role. THIS ROLE WILL REPORT TO THE SANITATION MANAGER DIRECTLY. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the highest levels of cleanliness in commercial, hospitality, or institutional settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, efficient operation while developing your skills in custodial management and team supervision.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Manage waste disposal procedures efficiently
• Supervise janitorial staff or cleaning crews, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed to standard
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Lead custodial teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing training on cleaning protocols and safety procedures

Experience

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within commercial, hotel, or hospitality environments
• Supervising or managing janitorial staff or cleaning teams is highly preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
