Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and professional service.
MUST PASS MVR and DRUG TEST for DOT Physical and Card.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks 26 Foot, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as Truck's Lift Gate.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages and goods as required during loading and unloading.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver with Box Truck Experience Preffered or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation within the local area is essential.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
