Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Assembly Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing assembly line equipment to ensure seamless production operations. Your expertise in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and technical diagnostics will be vital in minimizing downtime and optimizing equipment performance. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair assembly and error-proofing equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical preventive/corrective maintenance
- Replace sensors, actuators, lamps, and repair tooling/fixtures
- Respond to line-down events and troubleshoot root causes
- Complete maintenance checklists and equipment logs
- Maintain safety compliance and clean work environment
- Participate in technical and safety training programs
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Experience and tool proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to analyze issues and implement corrective action
- Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
- Good physical condition and safety awareness
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive manufacturing/assembly maintenance
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and poka-yoke systems
- Preventive maintenance & equipment inspection experience
- Understanding of PLC troubleshooting/programming basics
- Experience with 5S and continuous improvement practices
- Strong communication & teamwork skills
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50.0 per week
