Construction Laborer - House Lifting/Pile Driving/Demolition

SJ Hauck is looking for a hardworking, dependable Construction Laborer to join our team specializing in house lifting and structural construction. This is a hands-on position where you will be directly involved in the process of safely raising residential structures and completing the structural work that goes along with each project.

What You'll Do:

You will be directly involved in safely lifting and supporting residential structures.

• Your responsibilities will include preparing job sites for lifts, working underneath and around structures.
• Assisting with the installation and positioning of hydraulic jacks, steel beams, cribbing, and other lifting equipment.
• Helping prepare foundations and support systems.
• · Work in crawl spaces and other confined areas.
• Move and position heavy materials and equipment.
• Assist with excavation, concrete, demolition, and foundation work as needed.
• Help with the placement of new footings, supports, and structural components.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires the ability to lift and carry heavy materials, work on your feet for extended periods, and safely work around heavy equipment and active construction sites. You will work closely with the Foreman and crew throughout each project, following instructions carefully and helping ensure that every phase of the house-lifting process is completed safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Need:

• The most important thing is that you're reliable, hardworking, physically capable, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver's license
• Construction experience - preferably structural elevation experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy materials
• Ability to work in crawl spaces and confined areas
• Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to work well with a crew and follow direction

Pay & Benefits:

$23–$26/hour based on experience.
