Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and personable Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes and upsell items to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales.
• Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate guest needs seamlessly.
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable for managing bookings and optimizing seating capacity.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including food preparation details and beverage options.
• Promote a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests in a friendly manner, fostering guest relations and repeat business.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
• Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within hospitality or food industry settings preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
