JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Student Services collaborates with the Principal and Assistant Principal to shape school culture and ensure a safe and orderly environment that promotes academic achievement and the social development of all students. The Manager serves as the intake coordinator for Student Services and is the frontline for requests for student support. The Manager works with the Assistant Principal and Principal to input, manage, and assess student-level data to address student needs for service.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include, but not limited to the following)
Serve as a member of the Student Services Team (SST) and provide administrative support in all facets of operation of Sizer Student Services.
Receive and direct communication through Student Services.
Serve as intake coordinator for Student Services and triage calls and emails from teachers and staff throughout the school day.
Provide support to the Student Services Team, including the Assistant Principal, School Counselor, Adjustment Counselor, Coaches, and the School Nurse Leader.
File student log entries, restorative conferences sheets, and other student services related documents.
Provide supervision and support to students in the SST area.
Document and collect data for all students who work with Student Services.
Assist in collecting, compiling, computing and verifying data related to student services.
Monitor student discipline logs to alert the Assistant Principal to any immediate concerns.
Communicate with parents/guardians/families as needed.
Maintain student cumulative files and prepare them for graduating Seniors and student withdrawals.
Monitor the school cameras as needed and support the Assistant Principal in bookmarking and documenting incidents.
Attend Student Services and Administrative support team meetings as needed.
Utilize Rediker student management system and maintain electronic student records.
Collect, compile, and verify all new, transfer, and returning student records for the purpose of entering, storing, modifying, maintaining and retrieving student data in Rediker as well as forward it to other schools, state agencies, alumni and families.
Prepare and distribute confidential and sensitive documents and correspondence to parents, administrators, state agencies, and educational systems regarding student academic, health, and discipline issues. Maintain all student services documents for SST.
Prepare student data packets and transcripts for school counselors to be used for school transfers, processing of college applications, scholarships, and alternate and post-secondary programs.
Create, update, and provide a variety of student-related clerical forms to Administrators, the Front Office Administrative Assistant, and other staff members.
In collaboration with the Director of Community Development, Communications, and Recruitment, update enrollment database when in receipt of new student records.
Maintain current student enrollment data in Rediker and assist with the SIMS data collection.
Complete data training as needed and stay current with Rediker policies and procedures and state reporting data requirements.
In collaboration with the Assistant Principal, develop and maintain internal Student Services documents, templates, and forms.
Serve as the school contact for student transfers to outside placements and agencies.
Model appropriate behavior and display professional conduct at all times.
Maintain student and family confidentiality at all times.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong team player
Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
Two or more years of administrative experience in schools preferred
Ability to adapt and perform well within a high-traffic office environment
Proven skills in working well with students, teachers, and parents/guardians
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; database experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Ability to pass CORI and National Criminal Background Check
