About Us
Sizemore Welding, Inc. is expanding into the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market. We are developing and manufacturing high-performance exhaust systems for large/industrial diesel engines and are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer and/or Senior Draftsman to join our team.
This is an opportunity to help build and lead a new division focused on large/industrial diesel engines for generator systems supporting AI data medical and other back up power environments.
Position Overview
This is a full-time onsite position in Bunnell, FL. We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in exhaust system design, specifically with (CFD) computational fluid dynamics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in design, drafting, testing, and production support as we scale into AI generator exhaust manufacturing.
Responsibilities
· Design and develop exhaust systems for large industrial diesel generator applications
· Perform airflow, backpressure, and thermal performance calculations
· Create detailed fabrication drawings and 3D CAD models
· Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability
· Optimize systems for noise reduction, efficiency, and compliance
· Work with clients to meet technical specifications
· Review and improve existing exhaust designs for performance and cost efficiency
Qualifications
· Minimum 6 years of experience in exhaust system design
· Strong understanding of flow dynamics, backpressure, and thermal management
· Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
· Experience with generator exhaust systems strongly preferred
· Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, pipe fitting, sheet metal)
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
