Job Description:

6 Star Management is seeking a Leasing Agent to join the onsite team at The Signature Apartments in Silverdale, Washington, a 201-unit community. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day leasing operations of the property, assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, maintaining resident relationships, and contributing to the property’s occupancy and retention goals.

The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, building positive relationships, and creating a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and sales skills, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also carry out responsibilities with professionalism, accountability, and integrity while contributing to the overall operational success of the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Respond to prospective resident inquiries through phone calls, emails, online platforms, and in-person visits in a timely and professional manner.

· Conduct property tours, highlight community amenities and apartment features, and effectively communicate the value of living at the property.

· Follow up with prospective residents to generate leasing opportunities, convert leads into completed applications, and support occupancy goals.

· Assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process, including application processing, lease preparation, required documentation, and move-in coordination.

· Use AppFolio to manage leasing activity, maintain accurate prospect and resident records, process applications, and document leasing transactions.

· Maintain an accurate understanding of apartment availability, rental rates, lease terms, promotions, and community policies.

· Assist with lease renewals, resident retention efforts, and addressing resident questions or concerns in coordination with management.

· Support property marketing and outreach efforts to generate leads, increase leasing traffic, and maintain competitive occupancy levels.

· Coordinate with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure vacant apartments are properly prepared and ready for incoming residents.

· Maintain the leasing office, model apartments, tour routes, and other areas presented to prospective residents in a clean, organized, and professional condition.

· Assist with administrative responsibilities related to property operations, including resident correspondence, leasing reports, and move-in and move-out documentation.

· Comply with all applicable Fair Housing laws, company policies, and leasing procedures while maintaining professionalism and consistency throughout the leasing process.

Key Qualifications:

· Prior leasing experience in an apartment community, residential property, or similar environment preferred.

· Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current residents.

· Ability to conduct effective property tours, communicate apartment features, and convert prospective residents into successful leases.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience using property management software such as AppFolio to manage leasing activity, resident records, and administrative documentation preferred.

· Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and general leasing practices preferred.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address resident concerns professionally and effectively.

· Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and integrity.

· Ability to work collaboratively with onsite staff and management to support property operations and leasing goals.

· Ability to walk the property, conduct apartment tours, and remain active throughout the workday.

Additional Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Prior experience in apartment leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.

· Ability to work onsite and maintain a flexible schedule based on the operational needs of the property.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
