Bakery Clerk (Part-Time)
Six Red Chairs Bakery is looking for a friendly, dependable Bakery Clerk to join our team this fall.

Schedule
Part-time. Weekend availability is required. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 am - 1 pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with warmth and enthusiasm.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our pastries and baked goods.
- Operate the Square point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
- Package pastries and bakery items with care and attention to presentation.
- Restock displays and keep the pastry case full, clean, and inviting.
- Brew and serve coffee
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house, including dining and retail areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Help create a positive experience that encourages customers to return.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Previous retail, café, bakery, or customer service experience is preferred
- Food Handler or Food Protection certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain if required).
